Dr. Nicole Johnson was proudly raised in Palatine, IL by a Polish immigrant family. In her childhood, she always found herself working with children, whether it was getting involved with community school events, babysitting, tutoring, or teaching swim lessons. When it became time to choose a career path, she could not imagine working with anyone but children!
Dr. Nicole completed her B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Loyola University Chicago and earned her D.D.S degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After graduating dental school, Dr. Johnson moved to Columbus, Ohio where she obtained her fellowship certificate in Pediatric and Community Dentistry from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She then moved to Los Angeles, CA where she continued her specialty training at UCLA and completed her residency program in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Nicole is passionate about continuing her dental education and regularly attends CE courses. She is proud to be an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society and Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Nicole loves working with all children, including those with special needs, and strives to make sure every child feels comfortable and has a positive experience. She particularly enjoys singing songs, telling silly stories, and tickling “sugar bugs” away! In her spare time, she likes dancing, listening to Latin music, exploring new restaurants, traveling and spending time with family and friends. In April 2017, she married the love of her life in Punta Cana. Dr. Nicole is very happy to be back in the Chicagoland area and is excited to be a part of the Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry Family!
