Meet Dr. Chokdee

Dr. Darin Chokdee grew up in Morton Grove, IL where she obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then attended Roosevelt University and completed an M.S. in Biotechnology and Chemical Sciences and worked in cancer research at Northshore University Health Systems prior to dental school. Dr. Darin earned her D.M.D. from A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, completed a general practice residency program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and went on to complete a pediatric dental residency program at the University of Texas-Houston.
In dental school she was awarded the Morrie Reisbek Research Award, a scholarship award from the Women for ATSU Scholars program, and the ASDOH student research travel award. She also has a passion for community outreach and participated in a global dental outreach trip to Atoyac, Mexico. During her residency, she completed research on the post-discharge adverse events following moderate sedation.

Outside of the office, Dr. Darin enjoys spending time with her husband and children and also loves to participate in marathons and triathlons. Dr. Darin is excited to be joining the Forest Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry family!
