Meet Dr. Anokhi

Dr. Anokhi Dalia Bock is a native of Lake Forest, Illinois. Upon graduation from Lake Forest Academy, she moved to the East Coast for her undergraduate studies at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. While in college, she continued to pursue her love of the outdoors as a biology and environmental studies major. She spent a year researching the effect of urban development on the habitat of the eastern coyote, white-tailed deer, diamond-back terrapin, and box turtle, both in and around Cape Cod.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science, Dr. Anokhi continued her studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. This is where she and Dr. Derek met! She graduated with high honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. While in dental school, she received several awards and distinctions, culminating in her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

After graduating from dental school in 2003, Dr. Anokhi moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, so she could continue her studies at Riley Children’s Hospital through Indiana University School of Dentistry. There, she completed her two-year residency in pediatric dentistry and obtained her Master of Science in dentistry. While in residency she received a Graduate Student Research Award through the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for her research on fluoride’s effect on bone.

The summer after residency, Dr. Anokhi Dalia and Dr. Derek Bock got married! They enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon, after which she joined the practice of Jerry Udelson, DDS, in Forest Park, Illinois. In late 2008, Drs. Derek and Anokhi Bock decided to join forces and open up a “boutique-style” practice close to home, where they could use the skills they had gained as associates and practice dentistry according to their philosophy and goals. Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry is the practice they have always dreamed of building together.

“There is no better feeling than gaining the trust and confidence of a young child and seeing them grow up and develop over time. I am very passionate about my profession and truly love what I do. I take pride in my dentistry and my care for the children in this practice.” — Dr. Anokhi
